What you'll do

• At Kuku TV, we’re building the future of short-format OTT entertainment and microdramas for global audiences, and we’re looking for a Promo Writer (Hindi) who can turn emotions into scroll-stopping, binge-worthy scripts.
• If you understand viral storytelling, audience psychology, and high-retention content, and can create content that resonates across diverse audiences, this role is your stage.
• Write high-impact Hindi promo scripts for microdramas, OTT shows, and digital campaigns targeted at emerging international markets like Indonesia.
• Craft emotion-driven hooks that grab attention instantly and drive strong viewer retention.
• Analyze top-performing OTT promos and viral content trends across markets to replicate success patterns.
• Collaborate with creative teams, editors, and marketing to deliver compelling narratives.
• Adapt tone, pacing, and storytelling formats for short-form video platforms and diverse audience preferences.
• Stay ahead of digital trends, viral hooks, and audience engagement strategies.

What they're looking for

• 4, 5 years of experience in Hindi content writing / scriptwriting / promo writing.
• Background in OTT platforms, web series, films, or microdrama storytelling.
• Strong understanding of story arcs, emotional triggers, and dramatic tension.
• Exceptional command of written Hindi. (creative, punchy, impactful)
• Ability to create short-form, high-retention, binge-worthy content.
• Exposure to or interest in content for international audiences (especially Southeast Asia) is a plus.
• Self-driven, fast thinker who thrives in a high-speed content environment.
