iOS Developer

About the role

As an iOS Developer at KukuFM, you will be responsible for developing an application that supports millions of active users. Your day-to-day work will not only involve writing code but also thinking about solving problems in the most optimized and scalable ways.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to develop high-quality iOS applications.
• Design and implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements for our existing iOS applications.
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve software defects to ensure the optimal performance of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the development process.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

What they're looking for

• Experience of 1-3 years.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Proven experience as an iOS Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
• Experience with a media playback library (e.g., AVFoundation, ExoPlayer, AVKit).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
