What you'll do

• We’re looking for someone who thrives in early-stage chaos, loves building systems and processes, and can balance hands-on recruiting with thoughtful partnership and planning.

What they're looking for

• 4+ years of experience, ideally in-house experience as first recruiter at an early-stage startup
• You’re a builder: you’ve created recruiting systems/processes from scratch or significantly improved existing ones, and leverage AI. Expect to balance many roles at once.
• Exceptional communication and candidate experience instincts
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguity
• Passion for AI and the opportunity to shape a team working at the edge of what’s possible
• Demonstrated ability to operate in high-performance, high-expectation environments
• Polish, strong communication, attention to detail, and professional judgment
• You can quickly understand complex problems and structure solutions

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder, or startup building experience
• Experience hiring for non-technical roles (G&A, GTM)
• Experience building out roles/processes in Ashby
• Played Portal 1 and 2 - or willing to as part of onboarding 😄
